Founder

Hello everyone! I’m Johnny, the founder of Johnny’s English Classroom.
I’m originally from the UK but I’ve been living in Japan for many years and now call Matsumoto home. I started Johnny’s to create a place where learning English is fun, supportive, and meaningful for everyone—kids and adults alike.

I enjoy playing the bass guitar, hiking, and spending time with my two daughters. I’m also really interested in travel, culture, and connecting people through language.

At Johnny’s, we believe English isn’t just a subject—it’s a tool for discovering the world and expressing who you are. I hope you’ll come join us and experience it for yourself.
